AMERICOLOR: Exploring Urban Color Fields

Dennis Church's AMERICOLOR: Exploring Urban Color Fields transforms the mundane into the extraordinary. His unique perception of color, influenced by a transformative childhood experience, imbues his photographs with a distinct visual language where geometric shapes and harmonious patterns emerge from urban chaos. Through his discerning lens, everyday scenes become vivid, painterly compositions, reflecting the profound beauty and complexity of urban life.

Earth Oracles

Pondering the meaning and consequences of the multiverse, I seek objects that take me to another world. The artists included in Earth Oracles accept the vastness and possibilities of the universe beyond the known or hidden within the mundane. Rather than fear the unknown, they allow it to inspire an engagement with materials, realities, and histories. They show us transformed worlds of the future and the past and worlds that may co-exist with our own. They tell new versions of the histories we were taught, from perspectives that recentre the margins, allowing justice and inspiration not currently available.
