Monologue II - The Fog
Written by Hirbod HumanI woke up and you’re not here.
I look around, I sense the smell of your skin.
You’re not here.
I feel the warmth of your hand on my chest.
I call your name.
I hear your voice in the echo.
When did you leave?
I remember I was holding you in my arm.
The bed is cold, my pillow is wet, my eyes are red.
I cried all night while I was dreaming about you.
The room is white, the sky is dark.
What time is it?
The sun is going down.
The room is afraid of the dark and I can’t go to sleep.
I ask my pillow to tell me a story, your story.
I close my eyes, and the story has begun.
Once upon time you’ve been here every morning when I woke up.
