Longest Night

A+ A-

Oh father, it's getting late,

Lie down and sleep,

Why can't you find peace?

Your beautiful eyes,

What does the heart of the world desire from them?

Are you warm?

What's wrong, father?

Let me open the windows, let some air in.

(Father)

My dear father,

(Do you know what love is?)

Then tell me you're not feverish,

Your flushed face,

Needs a story, father,

Let me open the windows,

Sit down, let's talk,

We'll give and take hearts,

Until the sun, my lady, rises from behind the mountains.

Father, love has a long life,

Love is that trust,

That God places in one's heart.

Love means

When the flower blooms,

When the nightingale sings,

When the sun comes out,

When the moon converses with the sky,

Through the scents of the night.

Everything comes and goes in this world,

Except love, which remains

In the hearts of people, birds, trees.

Father, love is so grand and deep,

That people's minds,

From seeing it,

Hearing it,

Even from being near it,

Flee.

Love is like a story,

That when one listens to it,

They awaken.

My dear, love wants laughter,

It wants joy,

Love wants to be eternal.

If sleep takes your eyes,

In your heart, my dear father,

One day,

Light will come,

Movement and excitement will return.

Love, my dear heart,

More than my words,

Love is the great Ahura Mazda,

Who sits in your heart,

Dispelling darkness and gloom.

My dear,

Love doesn't fear,

Love is a feeling within people,

That no school

Teaches about love.

My flower, falling in love,

Love is a small door,

That takes you

To the infinite,

Even to God.
